Responsibilities:
The Clinical Training Manager is responsible for non-provider business training oversight, ensuring all training programs are executed in a consistent and compliant manner. The incumbent collaborates with business leaders, designated business trainers, Team Resources, Compliance, and Risk Management to design, implement, and track training effectiveness.
Remote based - Travel is required throughout markets and states where clinics are located
- Develops overall learning and development strategy for non-provider clinic team members
- Provides governance of non-provider clinic training deployment, and validates effectiveness of training delivery team members; continuously reviews and assesses effectiveness of training programs, and makes changes as necessary
- Partners with Team Resources relative to training delivery methodologies and utilization of Learning Management System, (LMS) where applicable
- Acts as indirect manager and mentor to designated business trainers; trains and assesses effectiveness of training delivery team members, providing coaching as necessary; oversees training of newly designated non-provider clinic trainers
- Has oversight of onboarding curriculum, CPR/BLS, phlebotomy, and other applicable training programs, certifications, and credentials
- Builds skill and competency development training programs in alignment with identified gaps and business needs
- Is responsible for non-provider training documentation and reporting to maintain records of training activities, evaluations, impact and effectiveness
- Acts as the primary point of contact for non-provider clinic trainings
- Acts as a resource manager relative to training schedules and redistributes training responsibilities as necessary
- Develops subject matter expertise in all aspects of training content, scope of practice responsibilities, and treatment protocols for non-provider clinic roles in which training is delivered
- Identifies and implements operational strategies to impact costs through continual process improvements and reduced costs
- Creates curriculum and instructional materials that align with the learning needs of the business
- Facilitates training via sessions, workshops, and in-house seminars, with an emphasis on refining team member clinical skills and capabilities; this may include demonstrating procedures, teaching proper techniques for medical examinations, instructing on the use of medical equipment, and providing hands-on practice opportunities
- Actively seeks current training methods and best practices to facilitate training team members
- Conducts regular meetings with senior leadership to identify subjects be addressed or areas in need of additional instruction

Additional Education & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience working in a formal training capacity where formalized business training was primary scope of responsibility
- 3+ year experience in leading/supervising others highly preferred
- Clinical education/educator training (CET) certification highly desired; ability and willingness to pursue certification within 12 months of hire
- Strong understanding of translating clinical standards into learning programs
- Experience analyzing business needs, lesson planning, development and implementation
- Minimum completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program and an active Medical Assistant certification are required
- Active CPR/BLS certification required
- Active IV Start certification required, if allowable by scope of practice regulation in home state of employment
- Active phlebotomy certification required
- Knowledge of various collection methods and testing, such as bleeding times, collecting donor blood, bedside testing, and preparing specimens required
- Knowledge of medical coding, HIPPA, and OSHA
- Working knowledge of common prescription medications that treat conditions and diseases for the the patient population assigned
- Proven ability to work with Google Suite software, (e.g., Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
- Proven ability to work with a Learning Management System, (e.g., Cornerstone, TalentLMS, etc.)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
